Dot-Line Transportation

Denny Watson started Dot-Line in 1980 with his primary operations located in southern California as a brokerage company. In 1985 he purchased four company trucks and started servicing the western eleven states.

Steady growth year-after-year quickly accelerated Dot-Line’s goals to new levels. In 1987 Dot-Line purchased a cross dock facility in the Los Angeles area and started a Less Than Truckload division. This new LTL division focused on consolidating smaller shipments into Full Truck Loads utilizing doubles to service coast to coast customers using Company Teams and Owner Operator Teams. While continuing to grow, Dot-Line saw the need for expansion. In 1993 they purchased a second terminal located at the center of America’s crossroads, El Reno, Oklahoma.

During the US economic recession of 2007 that put hundreds of transportation companies out of business Dot-Line continued to push forward placing greater focus on customers with consistent, year round, expedited, driver friendly drop and hook Full Truck Load accounts.  Dot-Line’s well balanced FTL and LTL customer base provided versatility to accommodate driver's needs.

Over the last four decades Dot-Line has employed trucking's most professional drivers and has developed into one of the safest and most reliable Truckload carriers in the country proving that they are here for the long haul.
